Hello, I’m Holly, it is so lovely to have you here.
I offer nurturing and welcoming spaces for parents, babies and children in the Crediton and Mid Devon area. The focus is on connection, love and slowing down.
As a mum of five wonderful (and crazy!) humans, I understand the juggle and the rollercoaster of emotions, it can be overwhelming and wonderful all at the same time, the worry and excitement, the anticipation for the next stage but grief of time passing too quickly, the changes in our bodies and identity and not to mention the sleep deprivation!
With over 20 years experience as a Paediatric nurse, working within hospital, hospice and community settings I am able to draw on professional knowledge and evidence, as well as my additional skills including qualifications in Infant Massage and Mother and Baby Blessings, to provide a holistic approach to supporting the crucial first 1001 days of infancy.
There are no expectations, the word ‘late’ is not in my vocabulary, I don’t believe in ‘good’ or ‘bad’ babies, sessions are relaxed, you are welcome and encouraged to come as you are. We will be led by you and your baby, in a safe and supportive space.
Most of us have heard the African Proverb ‘It takes a village to raise a child’, I believe it also takes a Village to raise a mother and father, but not everyone has a Village, maybe not even a small hamlet. Thats where I come in, I am a Village Visionary, I believe in the power of the Village, the power and importance of support, kindness and connection, because you can’t pour from an empty cup.
My aim is to rebuild the Village, to provide spaces that enable parents and babies to come together for connection, to be heard, to be held, to be valued and celebrated.
It takes a village, so lets build one together.
